Workplace Support Services was founded by Jim Bartley in 2013. Our office is based in Connolly Street, Fermoy, Co. Cork.

Our Employee Assistance Programmes are totally confidential. This means that the identity of an employee utilising the Programme will remain confidential.
We do not share personal information about clients outside of our team without their permission. Unless it is under the circumstances provided for in the Code of Practice for Health Care Workers; for example where their own or another’s person’s health or life is at risk.
Jim Bartley

Jim has been working in the service industry since 1987, he obtained the Qualified Financial Advisor in 2000, achieved the diploma in human resource management in 2003 and has been working in the counselling and psychology field for 5 years. Jim has vast experience working and managing in a corporate setting and also knows the trials and tribulations of running an SME.
Jim is experienced in EAP provision, is fully qualified and accredited and works in line with the Code of Ethics of the accrediting body. He also adheres to the professional standards and guidelines of EAPA. He has Professional membership with BACP & LIA. His approach is non-directive, non-judgemental, and person centred.
When working with the person he may integrate different approaches depending on their needs and wishes. His fundamental aim is to help clients find answers for themselves. This can be done by working together, talking, listening, and exploring the issues which are affecting them
